Websites Built to Rank, Convert, and Last

Custom-built websites designed to convert visitors into customers. Clean, fast, and built to rank.

Custom code. No shortcuts. Built to perform.

Most small business websites are built by someone who prioritized how it looks over how it performs. The result is a site that might photograph well in a screenshot but fails the visitors who actually land on it — people who arrive with real questions, limited patience, and plenty of other options a click away.

At Steadfast Creative, every project starts with one question: what do you need this site to do? Drive phone calls? Generate form submissions? Build enough credibility that prospects stop comparing you on price? Once that's clear, everything — layout, copy, navigation, load speed — is designed around that goal, not around what's easiest to template.

We build in custom code. No bloated themes, no dead weight, no platforms that lock you in and charge you monthly just to keep the lights on. You get clean, hand-written code that's fast, accessible, and structured to rank on Google from the day it launches.

What goes into every build

Speed is not optional. Google uses Core Web Vitals as a direct ranking signal, and visitors abandon pages that take more than a few seconds to load. Our sites consistently score 95+ on Google Lighthouse — not because we chase a number, but because we write lean, purposeful code that doesn't carry the dead weight of a page builder.

Mobile-first, without compromise. More than 60% of web traffic is on a phone. We design for the small screen first and scale up — not the other way around — so your site is as usable on an iPhone 12 as it is on a widescreen desktop.

SEO built in, not bolted on. Schema markup, semantic HTML, proper heading hierarchy, meta tags, canonical URLs, sitemap structure, and image optimization are part of every build by default. You shouldn't have to pay extra for code that's written correctly.

You own everything, outright. When your site launches, you own the code, the content, and the domain. No platform lock-in. No monthly subscription to "keep the lights on." No dependency on us to make a basic text edit. We hand it over and we're here if you need us — but you're never trapped.

How the process works

A typical project moves through five phases: discovery, wireframing, design, development, and launch. Discovery is where we learn your business, your customers, and your competitive landscape. Wireframing establishes structure and navigation before a single color is chosen. Design brings the visual direction together — typography, color, and hierarchy aligned with your brand. Development is the actual build. Launch includes performance testing, browser compatibility checks, and going live.

Timelines vary by scope. Most small business sites move from discovery to live in four to eight weeks. Throughout, you'll know exactly where things stand. We give status updates, ask for feedback at defined points, and never disappear mid-project.

Who this is right for

This service is for businesses that are serious about their online presence. The Connecticut contractor who keeps losing bids to competitors with sharper websites. The local retailer who needs a real e-commerce experience, not a Shopify theme with their logo swapped in. The professional services firm that needs to establish credibility before a prospect ever picks up the phone.

If you're looking for the cheapest option available, we're not the right fit. If you're looking for a website that earns its keep — one that loads fast, ranks on Google, and turns visitors into leads — that's exactly what we build. Every time.

We've built websites for contractors, retailers, e-commerce brands, professional service firms, and local service businesses throughout Connecticut and beyond. Each one was designed for that specific business, with that specific customer in mind. If you'd like to see examples of that work before we talk, browse the portfolio and then reach out.
